We are looking for a Global Production Planner for our multinational partner to Dunaújváros region.
- Travel to the company global facilities to lead the scheduling teams to meet customer requirements.
- Assist with the hiring and training of Production Schedulers for the global facilities.
- Lead the production scheduling team to issue material releases against blanket orders to meet inventory and scheduling needs, appropriately contributing to goal of 99% on-time delivery.
- Lead the production scheduling team to develop and maintain kanban pull system with our supplier partners.
- Lead the production scheduling team to manage inventory levels to meet defined targets.
- Lead the production scheduling team to participate in the quarterly review of pull demand and recommends lot run sizes and safety stock quantities for all parts.
- Lead the production scheduling team to communicate with customer service, as needed, to prioritize line schedule to accommodate hanging customer requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
- Previous experience with scheduling production or material planning in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of a MRP system
- Read, write, and speak both Hungarian and English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to travel internationally
