Our client has over 25 years' experience and a deep knowledge of the Investment Banking and Capital Markets space with every one of the top 50 banks in the world utilizing their platform. This team's role is to support and maintain our Client's global team, internal users and infrastructure.
- Answer, evaluate and prioritize requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with desktop hardware, software, networking, telecommunication, audio-visual and other IT related technologies.
-Use helpdesk software to monitor, respond and escalate user requests.
- Create and maintain Active Directory user accounts and security groups. Create and maintain Exchange user email accounts, shared mailboxes and distribution lists.
- Perform moves, adds and changes on telephone system
- Package desktop software and applications for automated deployments
- Assist with maintaining asset inventory and the purchase of desktop hardware and peripherals.
- Plan and perform user desk moves.
- Perform desktop hardware and software installations and updates
- Excellent standard of spoken and written English
- 2-3 years of desktop support experience
- Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting PC hardware, software, operating systems and peripherals
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Windows operating systems including Windows XP/Vista/7
- Prior working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Office Suite
- Active Directory administration experience
- Exposure to pc virtualization technology is an advantage
