As a Global End User Deployment Project Manager you will:
- Demonstrate accountability and ownership by executing the assigned GEUD CoE (Global End User Deployment Center of Excellence) internal deployment and communications projects (eg. deploying new versions of end user client applications such as Lotus Notes, Symphony, Sametime etc.)
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of all appropriate project documentation, (artifacts, power curves, as identified in the GEUD process in the designated Project Control Books) for each project assigned
- Develop communication messaging that addresses the needs and values of the IT service audience, including conveying complex information into a simple and impactful message
- Apply and demonstrate sound project management principles and methods in project execution
- Implement data quality improvement plans and drive appropriate process stewardship responsibilities to IT deployment management and quality improvement
- Improve the customer experience through professional and efficient deployment process and program implementation
- Demonstrate independent and creative decision making capabilities to keep project on schedule
- Contribute to the continuous transformation by providing GEUD process improvements throughout the year
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in IT is preferred
- Skills for this position require applicants who are equally adept at people, and business management
- Besides the knowledge of methods to initialize, plan, execute, control and monitor a project
- The position holders use skills and leadership competencies for team building, client relations, negotiation, decision making, problem solving and conflict management
The chosen candidate has at least 2-3 years experience in project management in global environment, working across multiple project stakeholders and of course has some years of experience in IT management. - Professional IT knowledge
