- Develop regional and global sourcing strategies that deliver the best total cost of ownership to the company on services and categories
- Build strong, value-adding relationships with suppliers, internal customers and cross-functional departments
- Create plan for service parts to insure supply continuity for products no longer in production
- Participate in regional and global sourcing projects
- Evaluate company purchasing patterns and forecast trends
- Articulate contract standards and specifications, enforce compliance to contract terms
- Initiate claims against suppliers for unsatisfactory materials
- Bachelor Degree in engineering / business or supply management preferred
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in procurement, engineering or supply chain management with a track record of meeting and exceeding assigned goals and objectives
- Fluent English is must!
- Good business / financial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient use in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Experience in use of ERP systems and e-procurement systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Growth demonstrated in continuous purchasing responsibility and continuous education.
