- Assist the Performance Test Lead by running the Performance Service Function and updating / maintaining the Quality Assurance portal
- Implement, adapt and promote Quality Assurance policy, standards and processes within the performance testing practice
- Co-ordinate, Plan and prioritize different performance requests
- Assist the development team in fixing production defects
- Manage and monitor performance test environment
- Prepare ad-hoc and periodic refresher training programmes for the staff
- Monitor working practices and prove feedback to the Performance Test lead to continuously improve quality
- Assist in various projects with Performance Testing Capability through various stages of development
- Escalate issues found during performance test execution
- Assist in preparing Performance test plans for various releases
- Work with geographically dispersed teams
- College or University degree
- ISEB and or ISTQB Foundation certificate in SW testing
- 5 years experience software testing
- Experience of non-functional and technical testing projects on large scale system developments
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance testing process implementation within sequential environments
- Experience of testing transactional and complex web applications + Microsoft web applications
- Experience in leading small teams - Experience of Visual Studio 2010 (or newer versions) for performance testing
- Familiar with Team Foundation Server 2010 (or newer versions)
- Installation, configuration and trouble shooting experience of Microsoft IIS / SQL Server
- Experience of different load test tools (HP LoadRunner, IBM Rational performance Tester, Microfocus Silk Performer/QA Load, Apache JMeter)
- Programming skill in C#
- Relevant experience of .NET technologies (ASP.NET MVC, WCF, WPF, Web Services), Database components (SQL Server, Sybase), JavaScript, XML, HTML and CSS
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server 2003/08, IIS, Virtualisation and Networking
- Experience in monitoring tools and utilities such as Perfmon and other TCP/ HTTP snifffers such as Wireshark / Ethereral, HTTP Fox, HTTP Analyser, Fiddler
- Fluent English
- Willing to travel occasionally (London, New York, Hong Kong)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
