Our Client pursued multiple opportunities in the 21st Licencing Round. They were successful in application and award of five new licences, two of which host significant ‘growth’ potential in the Barents Sea.
Responsibilities / essential functions of the job*:
Provide Chemical Treatment support to the offshore Operation as necessary.
Provide Chemical Treatment input and follow up for all relevant projects in area of responsibility.
Responsible for technical condition of Chemical Treatment Systems in area of responsibility.
Optimize the performance of Chemical Treatment Systems in area of responsibility.
Responsible for technical evaluation of relevant notifications & involve other disciplines as appropriate.
Responsible for providing technical input to the Deviation Process.
Identify requirements, establish frame agreements and act as Contract administrators as appropriate.
Contribute to a safe operation by applying relevant standards and regulations where appropriate.
Be updated on applicable standards, steering documents and regulatory requirements.
Develop and update internal technical documentation (TCDs) as necessary.
Be actively involved in the Budgeting & Planning processes.
Chemical Engineering/Chemistry, MSc or BSc
Understanding of Chemical Treatment required to meet HSE objectives. Fully conversant with Norway regulatory environment
Self-driven. Strong personal leadership and drive toward teamwork. Ability to perform effectively within a strong peer group and to drive toward optimal business solutions
Good communicating, influencing, negotiating and networking skills. Builds excellent relationships. Respected internally and externally
Able to drive continuous improvement and to instigate and make change happen.
5-10 years engineering experience.
MS Office
Fluent English is required.
