The architect will be responsible for the technical design of the solution ensuring the design is maintainable and extendable writing proof of concept code samples where applicable. The architect will work with the development team to estimate the work involved in building a solution. During implementation the architect will be hands-on mentoring and providing guidance to the developers, with the ability to code review developers’ work when necessary. The work will encompass both our current architecture 2 tier ASP with c++ components and our replacement architecture – full .net, ntier, service orientated architecture.
Design:
- Gather the architecturally significant requirements for our global product suite
- Create architecture overviews and estimate the work involved in delivering the solution
- Create detailed technical architecture designs and update the work estimates as necessary
- Actively promote items to product managers for inclusion in their release backlog
- Implement and govern an architecture framework
Quality:
- Ensure architecture is designed to be maintainable and easily extendable to meet futurerequirements
- Be involved in maintain the coding and security standards for the development teams
- Liaise with the development teams to ensure their production is technically sound and aligned with the architecture framework
Planning, Organizing & Delivery:
- Ensure work is planned in conjunction with other team members, sharing knowledge and
best practice
- Work with business analysts, developers, product managers and other team members to design enhancements
Initiative, Innovation & Change:
- Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging trends in related technology arenas that could influence new projects
- Continuously look for ways to improve effectiveness and productivity and provide innovative solutions to difficult problems
Degree in a technical related discipline (desirable: Microsoft Certified)
- 3 years architecting complex solutions
- 5 years in developing complex .net systems N-Tier Development experience.
Fluent English and Hungarian.
