An international softwer developer company that provide several services for investment banks Workplace is based on Budapest but sometimes traveling to London, New York, Hong Kong is required.
- Working closely with the Performance Test Lead in connection with ensuring the performance requests in time (coordinating, planning, prioritizing), updating and maintaining the QA portal, preparing occassional different professional trainings for the colleagues
- Giving help for the Performance Test Lead in the daily running of the Performance Service Function.
- In connection with the performance testing practice tasks will be implementing, adapting, promoting Quality Assurance policies, standards and processes
- Collaboration with other teams mostly within the Engineering division (for example in analysing, designing, executing tests and analysing results)
- Assisting in preparing the performance test plan, in fixing production defects, monitoring and managing performance test environment.
- Giving suggestions and feedbacks to the Performance Test Lead in order to improve the quality
- College or university degree in IT or relevant Business field
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- Minimum 5 years experience in software testing and at least 3 years experience in Performance Testing
- Practical experience of non-functional or ‘technical’ testing on large scale systems developments on at least 3 different projects
- Strong experience of QA testing process implementation within sequential (waterfall, V-model) environments
- Extensive experience of testing complex and transactional web applications.
- Experience of working with difference load testing and performance monitoring tools, testing Microsoft Web Applications, installation, configuration and trouble shooting of Windows products ( IIS, SQL Server)
- Being well versed in C/ C++ /Java or C# - Experience of using VSTS 201O for performance testing
- Familiarity with TFS 2010- version control , build and general workflow
- Alternatively skills with other load Test tools ( HP LoadRunner, IBM Rational performance Tester, MicroFocus Silk Performer/QA Load, Apache JMeter) with excellent programming skills
- Programming skills in C#
- Good understanding of .Net technologies ( ASP.NET MVC, WCF, WPF, Web Services), Database ( SQL Server, Sybase), JavaScript, XML, HTML and CSS
- Good understanding of Windows Server 2003/08, IIS, Virtualisation and Networking(Active Directory, TCP/IP,UDP, DNS/WINS, DHCP)
- Experience of using monitoring tools/ utilities such as Perfmon and other TCP/ HTTP sniffers such as Wireshark/Ethereal, HTTP Fox, HTTP Analyser, Fiddler
- Proficient with MS Office
Strong, active, fluent English language knowledge
- Having efficient problemsolving, communication and organisation skills and proactive attitude, excellent leadership skill
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
