Our client is a leading player in manufacturing and distributing full-line agricultural equipment. Their brands are sold in more than 100 countries through one of the largest distribution networks in the industry. For their start-up IT development center in Budapest we are looking for a production support system developer.
- Be part of a team developing the company's manufacturing execution system (Flexnet) delivering excellent customer service in line with contractual agreements and SLAs
- Provide the operational support for the manufacturing execution system on a daily basis
- Participate in Flexnet implementation projects
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines (incl. SOX) and local legislation (licensing, data security etc.) during implementation
- Translate complex business requirements to the robust IT solutions
- Able to develop continuously the manufacturing execution system and still maintain high usability
- University degree (preferably in IT or Sciences/Mathematics) or comparable experience
- Fluency in English is a MUST
- 1-3 years experience in Java application development, with HTML knowledge
- Understanding of system architectures, the interfacing technologies and middleware
- Knowledge of general programming methodologies
- Practical application of all aspects of software design, test strategies, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.
- Excellent understanding of the end-user requirements, business processes and operational practices
- Willingness to travel 25-50% per month
- Good interpersonal skills
