On behalf of our multinational client we are looking for Senior Software Engineer. The company is the world's leader in the machine vision industry, designs, develops, manufactures and markets machine vision sensors and systems, or devices.
Senior software engineer
Job description:
- be part of a team of software developers enhancing the software product.
- Enhance existing design and functionality for a wide variety of software components.
- Resolve bugs and improve overall system quality and performance.
- Develop utilities and graphical user interfaces for the tools and algorithms.
- write software in a variety of programming languages(C#, C++) and use the .NET framework.
- perform other related duties as required.
- This position requires occasional travel to the USA.
Required skills:
- Engineering degree in computer science or electrical engineering or equivalent
- 2-8 years of experience in the following 4 areas: excellent skills with C#, C++ and .NET; experience with developing Windows applications for PC's; experience with object oriented design and programming; experience with Microsoft .NET framework;
- Additional experience that would be helpful: experience with professional team software programming projects (development processes, source code control, formal bug tracking, etc…); experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010; some experience with Graphical User Interface design and usability; experience with VB.NET;
- Professional use of English is mandatory (both spoken and written)
