INTERNAL AUDITOR/TEAM LEADER

MAIN TASKS
- The Internal Auditor provides an objective and professional evaluation of internal
control systems, and recommends and advises on improvements
control systems, business processes and an economical use of resources.
- The role’s primary purposes are: To provide an objective and professional evaluation of
internal control systems and to recommend and advise on improvements in control
systems, business process and economical use of resources. To perform the role of
audit team leader when assigned to do so (periodically acts as team lead on small to
medium audits).
- to participate in departmental process improvement teams.
- The incumbent has accountability for thorough execution of audit assignments, which
at times are directed at the more complex audit areas.
- The incumbent sometimes leads audits and when doing so, has accountability to
ensure that the audit team meets its objectives.
- The incumbent will be required to develop or modify audit work programmes
and frequently provide functional guidance and direction to less experienced audit
professionals.
- The incumbent will also be expected to transfer knowledge in the form of suggestions
to improve Internal Audit processes and to help other department members meet
Internal Audit's mission.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Languages: English fluency a must (reading, writing and speaking); one other
European language
- Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree (Finance or accounting preferred)
- Desirable education: Master's Degree
- Minimum experience: 1-3 years (internal or external audit; process included)
