Our client is a worlwide player in the bank sector, for which we look for a Finacial and Banking Services Category Manager to their Budapest-based business services center.
Scope to include:
- Banking Services and Operations
- Cards and Plastic
- IT Professional Services
- Consulting
- Achieve the procurement objectives for the categories, and assist in developing positive relationships across the regional Procurement category team and internal clients across all business areas.
- Assist (and deputise for) the Category Lead (UK based) in the execution of day to day tasks
- Develop and execute plans and the sourcing process
- Collaborate positively across procurement and with internal clients to develop and implement sourcing programmes.
- Lead cross functional internal teams (mostly UK based)
- Coordinate all procedural requirements for the group's approved supplier program, supplier diversity, contract management system, procure-to-pay system, related metrics and reporting
- University/College degree
- Fluent in English
- 4+ years experience in sourcing in related categories
- Delivered medium scale and/ or complex sourcing programs
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of ERP systems and eProcurement tools
