Communication & Public Affairs Manager South-East Europe
based in Budapest
In the first couple of years being responsible mainly for the internal corporate communication
- including promoting engagement, writing newsletters, organizing employee surveys, developing of employee focused communication, implementing a communication plan that includes strategies and benchmarks , etcetera.
In the long term also continuously building the external communication channels
- with the local organizations, professional peers, lobby organizations, tax authorities, legal and court matters, developing annual communication strategies and media partnerships
Daily tasks also include
- Setting up regional corporate communication within the region from scratch
- Overseeing the strategies of internal communication related business activities of the organization
- Coordinating market research, membership development strategies and sales, advertising, promotional activities
- Writing, editing and researching media releases
- Observing economic, social trends that might affect the company
- Making recommendations to enhance company's image on the basis of actual trends
- Being responsible for coordination& preparation of regulatory submissions and strategies
- University degree in public relations or communications
- Fluency in English is a must, any other language knowledge from the area is advantageous
- Relevant work experience (minimum 5 years) in multicultural and international environment
- Good understanding of the South-East European region
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to write, edit and do research to present media releases
- Flexibility, no 9 to 5 mentality, willingness to travel
- Experienced liaison-builder with external and internal stakeholders and staff at all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure, independently and as a member of a team
