Our partner is a global manufacturing and technology company. We are looking for a Application Engineer to strenghten their team in Székesfehérvár.
- Be a project focal point of technical knowledge for actuators, controls, and applications of use, for other staff
- Support Sales during quotation phase by providing design inputs and design evaluation
- Perform detailed review and understanding of project specifications and data sheets, during quotation as well as order write up and engineering
- Design control system – pneumatic, electric and hydraulic – including sketching schematic and specifying control components
- Support of project management and documentation control when reviewing returned documents with customer comments
- Selection of control components
- Preparation of actuator and controls test procedures
- Preparation of control system operator manuals
- Preparation of build notes and assembly instructions for workshop personnel
- Preparation of technical part of change requests/notices
- Creation of work packages prior to passing engineering responsibility to Configuration engineering
- Support of workshop during initial build and the resolution of any problems encountered
- Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering / Technical field
- The ability to transfer customer specifications into practical and cost effective control system designs
- Basic experience in the use of SolidEdge CAD or related drawing software
- Experienced in working in a project environment
- Able to plan and schedule own work in relation to project needs
- Must be able to multi task between the various assigned projects
- 3-5 years experience in pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical control components
- 1-2 years experience in technical write-ups and operator/operations manuals
