The company is one of the leading energy companies in Europe and internationally. The Group provides highly efficient and innovative solutions to individuals, cities and businesses by relying on diversified gas supply sources, flexible and low CO2 emission electricity production, and unique expertise in four key sectors: liquefied natural gas, energy efficiency services, independent electricity production and environmental services.

The position holder will be responsible for co-ordinating the budgeting and management reporting processes at country level and delivering consolidated financials with accompanying analyses and commentary to the attention of local Senior Management and Corporate HQ. The position holder will lead the Management Reporting & Analysis Department.

- Coordinate the budgeting, planning, actuals closing and management reporting processes for the financials (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow) at country level;
- Deliver the monthly management reports, budgets, forecasts and best estimates with accompanying variance analyses and insightful commentaries on time and at high quality to Management (local and HQ);
- Ensure that legal entity and management reporting as well as budgeting are in line with IFRS and Group Reporting standards;
- Act as a key interface between business controllers, country Senior Management and Corporate HQ;
- Coordinate the transmission of actual, budget and forecast financials into the Group consolidation system in a timely manner;
- Ensure that the consolidation tool (MIS) is developed, maintained and operated in line with compliance standards and reflects changes in the business and IFRS;
- Support Management with presentations and ad-hoc financial analyses;
- Critically challenge business line assumptions and inputs;
- Improve quality and timeliness of processes and departmental output;
- Maintain an excellent line of communication and co-operation with business lines and other Finance Functions locally and Corporate HQ in Paris and Brussels;
- As a key member of the Controlling community, contribute to the implementation of the functional change management agenda;

- Masters degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university;
- Fluency in English
- Minimum 8-10 years relevant post qualification experience gained in business controlling, financial planning or business reporting positions at companies engaged in complex sales and manufacturing activities;
- At least 5 years of people management experience;
- Demonstrated career progress at large listed multinational companies with well reputed finance processes;
- Proven track record of practical application of finance skills and management accounting principles;
- Multiple years of experience in financial data management;
- Working knowledge of IFRS and Hungarian Accounting Standards;
- Energy sector experience is a strong plus but not a pre-requisite;
