Adecco IT & Engineering on behaf of our cosutomer is now looking for a Project Sourcing Engineer with the characteristics and ambition to take on a dedicated role within the sourcing organization for assigned NPD-projects.(New Product Development)

Key performance areas
As Project Sourcing Engineer your responsibilities, among other things, will be:
- Dedicated sourcing for assigned NPD-projects

- Negotiating with suppliers and writing contracts for components to prototypes
- Following up planned and active product development
- Collecting the project needs for sourcing and defining the functional specifications
- Ensuring that project target costs and lead-time for sourcing are set and achieved
- Involving suppliers in projects as needed
- Secure support from other sourcing resources for the projects
- Escalating sourcing issues in projects to the sourcing organization
- Ensuring that our supply chain is ready for projects with capacities, supplier quality level, and supplier performance
- Bringing best sourcing practices into the project team
- Ensuring an active communication between the sourcing organization and project team
- Using common sourcing processes and tools, and supporting the development of new processes and tools

As the Project Sourcing Engineer you will be actively working with Product Development Center, Production and the Global Product Lines. Your individual targets are based on KPIs, on site sourcing performance, the sites' total cost development, supplier performance and quality. You will be reporting to the Site Sourcing Manager in Svedala.
Your profile
You hold a technical degree and you are confident in discussions with an engineering department. Further you are a professional in sourcing, and have good skills in negotiation and supplier base management. Excellent communication and coordination skills are also required. Experience from project teams and with a natural ability to motivate team members. Work experience of three to five years in a sourcing role is a necessity.

As an individual you have a structured, systematic and analytical approach to work. Additionally, you are highly motivated and driven, can work independently and have the ability to create networks and build teams.

The position involves travel within Europe, up to 40 days annually.
