On behalf of our multinational Client are one of Europe's leading providers of communications services, with over 21 million corporate and residential customers in the UK alone. They do this through their strategy of providing the best communications services and solutions for everybody in the UK and for corporate customers across Europe. We are currently looking for:

Desk Based Service Manager (Budapest)

The role holder is a proactive Account Manager or Specialist, who acts as the desk based point of contact for the customer/partner developing long term customer relationships. He/she is responsible for delivering against personal revenue targets and closing own contracts, as well as engaging with others / specialists to deliver customer requirements as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • The DBSM will provide a single point of contact for customer during in-life management of their network
  • Together with customer will ensure the network continues to meet any changing requirements
  • Additionally, customers have the ability to escalate a problem at any stage within this proccess on a 24x7x365 basis
  • However for critical problems customers can contact their allocated DBSM during normal working hours so that on behalf of the customer
  • This minimises the involvement that the customer's employees need to take in the escalation of fault and ensures that faults are rectified as quickly as possible
  • Incident Management
  • Proactive Customer Calling
  • Customer Quality of Service Reviews
  • Customer Handbook - A customer handbook is produced by the DBSM as a guide to the service provided and managed by the company
  • Service Improvement Plan - This will identify and address the applicable customer's service issues to resolution

Qulifications:

  • College or University Degree
  • Fluent in English and German or French or Italian or Swedish
  • Professional approach to team and client relationships.
  • Good awareness and knowledge of all low / medium complexity products and services in core business areas.
  • For DBAMs - knowledge of a couple of key ICT areas.
  • For Desk Based Specialists - in depth knowledge across the ICT chapters
  • Proactive and Responsive essential
  • Reasonable knowledge of products, customers IT systems and applications, which could be domestically and globally
  • Must be able to manage many customers during any given day and multi-task as well
